An Engineering Technician from March, 1978 through March, 1992 Ann prepared Bridge/Highway Construction Contract Plans, under supervision, including bridge hydraulics, flood hazard evaluation, preliminary and detail bridge design; roadway details including pavement design and drainage.

In March, 1992, the Office Manager retired. Ann was offered and accepted the position. Ann’s education and knowledge from working directly on projects was a good fit. Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Work in Progress, General Ledger, Payroll and Human Resource issues are a major part of the work. 

The company purchased Wind2 (currently Deltek Financial Management System) Accounting software in 2004. With this software, employees can now enter time sheets into the program directly, thus keeping project labor costs up to date. The payroll program is flexible enough to handle all the different city and school taxes in Ohio . The Deltek FMS software is an important investment in the future accounting and job costing needs for the company. 

Ann attends continuing education courses/seminars in order to keep up with the changes happening in the various aspects of her position.
