Two culverts and one single span bridge were included in this project for ODOT District Two on U.S. 6 in Sandusky County. Culvert SAN-6-1.28 was a precast reinforced concrete box culvert (16’ span x 7’ rise x 72’ length) with reinforced concrete headwalls, while culvert SAN-6-0561 was a precast reinforced concrete three-sided culvert (28’ span x 8’ rise x 72’ length) with reinforced concrete headwalls. Bridge SAN-6-0246 was a single span (55’ c/c bearings) prestressed concrete box beam superstructure supported on reinforced concrete capped pile abutments that was built utilizing part-width construction details as provided in the plans. This project was completed in 2004 at a total construction price of $786,000.

Two culverts were designed for ODOT District Two on S.R. 65 in Wood County. In the Village of Grand Rapids, an old concrete culvert under the roadway and two side bridges that connected the village’s sidewalks were replaced with one new precast reinforced concrete box culvert (12’ span x 5’ rise x 84’ length) with reinforced concrete headwalls. In the City of Perrysburg, an old concrete culvert was replaced with a new 60” diameter circular concrete culvert with reinforced concrete headwalls. This project was completed in 2003 at a total construction price of $440,000.
